The audit was carried out in January and February 2021.


The statutory regulation of the supervision of hiring in the Working Environment Act was amended with effect from 1 July 2020. The PSA thereby gained the authority to supervise that the conditions for hiring from temporary-work agencies and the equal treatment requirement in hiring employees are fulfilled. The hirer’s obligation to provide information to the temporary-work agency is also comprised by the extended supervisory duty.


The objective of the audit was to monitor that, in its hiring of workers from temporary-work agencies, Aker BP meets the requirements of the Working Environment Act.


Two non-conformities were identified, relating to:

  • Routines for ensuring hiring is legal
  • Correct registration of enterprises

No improvement points were identified.

We have asked Aker BP to report to us by 19 April 2021 on how the non-conformities will be addressed.
