The audit was conducted on 12 February 2020 at Repsol’s premises.
Background
The subsea facilities and pipeline systems were installed in 2008 as part of the Yme project. The supporting documentation for the amended plan for development and operation (PDO) of Yme, including the Existing Systems Verification Report, incorporates a specific programme for verifications and inspections to be carried out before the systems and facilities are deployed.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify the implementation and outcome of Repsol’s programme for inspection and verification linked to the subsea facilities, risers, pipelines and control cables.
Result
No non-conformities were identified during the audit.
One improvement point was observed concerning verification of the strategy for the leak detection system.
What happens next?
We have asked Repsol for an assessment of the improvement point observed.
