Background
In the Fenja project, it is planned to construct the production pipes using a new technology: pipe in pipe (PIP) with electrical trace heating (EHT).
This audit was a continuation of the audit of the project performed in 2018. The audit verified that previously identified improvement points have been addressed in compliance with their feedback.
Objective
The objective of the audit is to verify that Neptune Energy is following up the fabrication of EHT PIP for Fenja comprehensively and that its own follow-up is ensuring a high quality level. Part of the audit is to monitor how Neptune is fulfilling its supervisory duty in respect of the supplier, TechnipFMC.
Result
No non-conformities were identified during the audit.
One improvement point was identified concerning the use of and compliance with internal systems.
What happens next?
Neptune has been given a deadline of 1 April 2020 to comment on how the improvement point will be addressed.
