Objective
The objective of the audit was to evaluate the company’s management of technical, operational and administrative factors. We also wanted to assess the technical condition of equipment for materials handling, including lifting equipment at Snorre B and measure this against the company’s and the authorities’ requirements.
Result
Non-conformities were identified relating to:
- Governing documents for ensuring safe lifting operations
- Deficient arrangements for safe use of the offshore crane
- Technical omissions and defects.
What happens next?
Equinor has been given a deadline of 24 January 2020 to report on how the non-conformities will be addressed.
