Aker BP – Valhall field – Planning of well stimulation activity

Objective

The objective was to audit Aker BP’s planning process concerning the identification of HSE risks in the well stimulation activities and how risks are mitigated and addressed.

Result

No nonconformities were identified.

Three improvement points were identified in connection with:

• Deficient competence requirement
• Deficient verification activity
• Follow-up of effectiveness of maintenance

Aker BP has been given a deadline of 9 December 2019 to report on how the improvement points will be addressed.
