Objective
The objective of the audit was to confirm that Gassco and Shell, the TSP, had established an emergency preparedness system that was in compliance with the regulations. This was a follow-up of the major accident audit of 2017. In addition, we wanted to look at: how new requirements in the Major Accident Regulations had been implemented; measures taken following the incident of 4 March 2018 in which an injection point came loose during a leak test; and the status of the vibration problems in the metering station.
Result
No non-conformities were identified.
Two improvement points were identified, in connection with:
- Submission of an emergency preparedness plan
- Information provided to the general public
Gassco has been given a deadline of 25 January 2019 to report on how the improvement points will be addressed.
