The audit took place on 15 and 16 November 2016.

Background

As of March 2016, Gassco took over the operatorship of the Vesterled pipeline and the receiving terminal at St. Fergus in Scotland. In respect of this, we carried out an audit of the operator changeover process.

Day-to-day operation of the St. Fergus receiving terminal is handled by px Ltd, which has been appointed as the Technical Service Provider (TSP) for Gassco.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to examine and review Gassco’s follow-up activities and safety management arrangements for Vesterled and associated facilities and the terminal at St. Fergus.

Result

No non-conformities were identified during the audit.

Three improvement points were identified, relating to:

  • Change process – documentation
  • Maintenance management – transfer and prioritisation
  • Documentation
