Gassco is now taking over operatorship of Nyhamna from the existing operator Norske Shell. The change of operator comes into effect on 1 October 2017.

Nyhamna

Nyhamna gas processing plant is located in Aukra municipality, Møre og Romsdal.

The facility was built to receive and process the gas from the Ormen Lange field in the Norwegian Sea, but has now been expanded to receive gas arriving through the Polarled pipeline from the Aasta Hansteen and Dvalin fields and potential future developments further north in the Norwegian Sea.
