Objective
Centrica Resources (Norge) AS (Centrica) has been a participant on the Norwegian Continental Shelf for ten years. The company is a licensee in 44 production licences and the operator of the Vale field, currently in production, and the Oda field, now in development.
Although the operating company has a particular responsibility for complying with the regulations, the licensees also have a role in this context. On a number of occasions we have carried out audits of licensees in order to verify that they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
The audit of Centrica took place as a meeting at the company's premises in Stavanger. The object of the audit was to verify that Centrica has a management system for, and performs practical follow-up of, its role within the production licence in compliance with the regulatory requirements, and that the company has robust competence and capacity.
Result
No regulatory non-conformities or improvement points were identified during the audit.
