Objective
An audit during the design engineering and construction of facilities is highly important, since it is in these phases that key parameters are defined for prudent operations once the facilities are put into use.On 11 and 12 October 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of Statoil's management of the procurement, design and fabrication of forged and cast construction details for deck structures for the Johan Sverdrup facilities.
The audit took place at the premises of the supplier, Lucchini RS Group in Italy.
Result
No non-conformities were detected during this audit.
One improvement point was identified in connection with the design basis for positioning guides to be used when placing the deck framework on the steel jacket.
