The audit took place on 1 and 2 December 2015 and focused on the disciplines of emergency preparedness, materials handling and the working environment.
Objective
The objective of the task was to assess whether Det Norske’s management of emergency preparedness, materials handling and the working environment as concerns the construction of the living quarters for Ivar Aasen meets the regulatory requirements.
Result
No non-conformities were identified during the audit.
Improvement points were identified relating to:
- Materials handling
- Evacuation routes
- The emergency preparedness organisation
- Working environment
What happens next?
Det Norske has been given a deadline of 29 January 2016 to provide us with an assessment of the improvement points observed.
