The Martin Linge development consists of a fixed production unit and an FSO for the storage and shipment of oil.
The purpose of the audit was to monitor that the design solution for the Martin Linge PU accords with the preconditions in the plan for development and operation (PDO), with the regulations and with relevant standards within the disciplines of technical safety and process safety.
Result
One non-conformity was identified in connection with automatic triggering of deluge valves in the event of gas detection.
In addition, two improvement points were identified in connection with:
- Fire class designation
- Emergency shutdown and process safety
Total has been given a deadline of 1 December 2015 to report on how the non-conformities and improvement points will be dealt with.
