Statfjord C is in the northern sector of the Statfjord field and came onstream in 1985. The Statfjord Nord, Statfjord Øst and Sygna satellites are tied back to Statfjord C. In 2014, Statoil received consent for extended operations at Statfjord C until August 2026.
The objective of the audit was to monitor Statoil's OHAS management at Statfjord C and to examine the implementation of measures for their own employees and subcontractor personnel. The audit also covered non-conformity and change management, and the organisation of employee participation in such processes.
Result
Two non-conformities were identified in connection with:
- Noise
- Chemical exposure
In addition, two improvement points were identified in connection with:
- Passive smoking
- Organisation of employee participation
Non-conformity:
Entails that a condition is assessed as not complying with a regulatory requirement.
Improvement point:
Entails that we have identified a deficiency or weakness, without there being sufficient grounds for determining a breach of regulatory requirements.
Statoil has been given a deadline of 29 January 2016 to report on how the non-conformities and improvement points will be dealt with.
