Objective
The objective of the audit was to confirm that Statoil is meeting the requirements in the regulations and its own procedures in respect of reducing the likelihood of a major accident. We investigated in particular the work processes aimed at achieving risk reduction, continuous improvement and systematic recording and follow-up of non-conformities. This includes how the processes are managed and how the organisation as a whole is engaged in the work.
Result
No non-conformities were identified during the audit.
One improvement point was identified relating to the maintenance backlog.
What happens next?
We have asked Statoil for their assessment of the improvement point by 24 October 2015.
