Lundin – location-specific emergency preparedness in the High North

The audit was conducted from 22 to 23 September 2015.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to follow up Lundin’s planning of emergency preparedness and helicopter operations for search and rescue operations in the High North. This also included the planned “Ørnen” drilling operation and the establishment of a temporary helicopter base in the south-eastern Barents Sea.

Result

No non-conformities were identified during the audit.

Two improvement points were identified relating to:

• Icing on lifeboats
• Use of weather reports
