Objective
The purpose of an audit of technical and operational safety is to investigate whether selected barriers and their performance requirements comply with requirements set out in regulations, standards and governing documents.
The audit was conducted as planned, was well organised and both presentations and interviews evinced a high level of openness.
Result
The PSA identified three improvement points during the audit. These related to the replacement of pressure relief valves, the process for procuring pressure relief valves, and barrier strategy and performance requirements.
