Statoil is the operator of the Aasta Hansteen field, lying in blocks 6706/12 and 6707/10 in the Norwegian Sea, around 320 kilometres west of Bodø. The field, which is in 1270 metres of water, is under development. Aasta Hansteen will be developed using a floating integrated facility of the spar type and two subsea templates with a total of eight well slots.
Objective
The PSA has carried out an audit into how Statoil is managing the project in respect of follow-up of the spar facility's hull and of supplier follow-up. The audit was primarily carried out at the offices and production facilities of Hyundai Heavy Industries at Ulsan in South Korea on 21 to 23 October 2014.
Result
No non-conformities were identified during this audit.

- Decision support during the transition from design to manufacture
