Objective

Through this audit, the PSA aimed to verify whether BP Norge AS' planning, execution and improvement of its own follow-up activities complied with regulatory requirements.

The audit is linked to the PSA's main prioritity "Management and major accident risk", which includes auditing how the management of the companies works to maintain an overview of their own activities. This activity forms part of a series of audits initiated in 2013, with the object of assessing companies' processes and systems for their own follow-up.

The audit was carried out at BP's premises in Forus on 16 and 17 October 2014.

Result

No non-conformities in respect of regulatory requirements were detected during this audit.

Improvement points were identified in connection with:

  • The relationship between the risk management process and the planning of follow-up activities
  • The overall assessment of follow-up activities

Non-conformity:

Improvement point:

Entails that we have identified a deficiency or weakness, without there being sufficient grounds for determining a breach of regulatory requirements.
