Deepsea Bollsta is a semi-submersible drilling facility of the Moss CS60E type, built at the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard (HHI) in South Korea and completed in 2019.
The Acknowledgement of Compliance was issued on 9 May 2025.
Decision
The Acknowledgement of Compliance means that Deepsea Bollsta and relevant parts of Odfjell Drilling’s organisation and management system are considered to be in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements for petroleum activities.
The decision is based on the information provided in the AoC application concerning the technical condition of the facility and the applicant’s organisation and management system, as well as the authorities’ verifications and other case processing.
The validity of the Acknowledgement of Compliance assumes that Odfjell Drilling ensures that the facility and relevant parts of the company’s organisation and management systems are maintained so as to fulfil the terms and conditions set out in our decision.
