In connection with the PSA’s focus on ICT security, in the period August 2018 to April 2019, Sintef carried out on our behalf a sectoral analysis: ICT security – remote working and HSE.
The main aim was to present knowledge concerning the use of remote working on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Remote working, in this context, refers to changes made in industrial control and safety systems over a geographical distance.
The report focuses on operational technology, i.e. technology that supports, controls and monitors industrial production, control and safety functions.
