User surveys are a useful tool for learning about the impact of our work. Such polls are being conducted with the company concerned after each of our audits in order to gain insights into how these supervisory activities are perceived and their effect, and to identify how to improve them in the future.

In mid-November, we will also send out a general questionnaire to all licensees, operator companies, land-based plants and companies responsible for operating mobile facilities. That includes companies we have not audited during 2019.
This expanded survey will give us important information on the effect of our work and general feedback not directly related to specific supervisory activities.
Another new feature is that key safety delegates are also being invited to participate.
Our consultant, Ideas2evidence, is again responsible for this survey. It will give us access to anonymised data only.
Results from both post-audit and general surveys will be published on our website.
