Background
The audit is part of our overall follow-up of helidecks in the petroleum industry and is based on experiences we have previously gained from verifications within this topic.
The Civil Aviation Authority Norway provided technical assistance.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to monitor that the management that is intended to ensure that helidecks are designed, equipped and maintained for the safe transport of persons and supplies by helicopter to, from and between facilities, complies with the authorities’ and the company’s own requirements.
This also includes the company’s own follow-up and any ongoing changes of significance to such management.
Result
The audit identified no non-conformities or improvement points.
