The audit was carried out twice. First in meetings in Oslo on 15 and 16 June 2023, where preparation and follow-up of design documentation was the main topic. Meetings and verifications were then undertaken at the construction yard in Verdal on 6 and 7 December 2023.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that detailed design and fabrication of the Hugin A platform jacket is taking place in accordance with requirements in the HSE regulations, and that the operator is performing its supervisory duty vis-à-vis the suppliers.
Result
We did not identify any non-conformities during the audit.
We identified one improvement point related to inadequate follow-up of the construction process.
What happens now?
We have asked Aker BP for its assessment of the improvement point identified. The reply deadline is set at 5 February 2024.
