The audit was conducted from 2 to 5 May 2023.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to assess how Equinor ensures compliance with requirements relating to major accident prevention in respect of the design and follow-up of selected technical safety functions.
Result
Two non-conformities were identified, concerning:
- process safety
- non-conformity handling
In addition, two improvement points were identified, concerning:
- minimum valve closure time
- labelling of manual valves
What happens next?
We have asked Equinor to report to us by 15 August 2023 on how the non-conformities will be addressed, and to give us their assessment of the improvement points identified.
