The audit was conducted from 21 to 24 February 2023, with the assistance of the Civil Aviation Authority Norway.
Objective
The objective was to verify that the helidecks comply with the regulatory requirements so as to contribute to safe helicopter operations and transport of personnel. A further objective was to verify the design and outfitting of the helidecks on the facilities, and systems and documents relating to their operation.
Result
No non-conformities were identified.
One improvement point was identified in connection with the maintenance of secondary structural elements and non-structural steel components.
On the helidecks, there were 17 non-conformities/observations. These can be found in a separate non-conformity list from CAA Norway, at the bottom of this page.
What happens next?
We have asked Equinor for their assessment of the improvement point identified. The reply deadline is set at 20 May 2023.
