The audit was conducted from 7 to 10 November 2023.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that the company’s processes and management tools for follow-up of previous audits and investigations function as intended, and that the authorities’ requirements are complied with. An additional objective was to confirm that the requirements in the Major Accident Regulations are being met.
Result
We identified four non-conformities, concerning:
- Non-conformity handling
- Fire water supply
- Maintenance
- Documentation
In addition, an improvement point was identified, concerning passive fire protection.
What happens now?
We have asked Equinor to report to us on how the non-conformities will be addressed and for their assessment of the improvement point identified. The reply deadline is set at 21 January 2024.
