§ 35 Reporting from manned underwater operations

The operator shall submit an activity report regarding manned underwater operations from facilities or vessels to the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority. The report shall be submitted no later than 14 days after the end of every half year.
The operator shall also submit an experience report to the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority before the end of January of the following year or at the completion of a manned underwater operation.

The activity report as mentioned in the first subsection, should be written in the electronic format determined by the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority.
The operator’s experience report as mentioned in the second subsection should summarise and evaluate the experience gained with the equipment and the procedures used, and identify the need for follow-up. The operator’s assessment of the following should be included:
  1. completed diving operations,
  2. HSE circumstances and reportable incidents,
  3. results of completed verifications,
  4. follow-up of working environment conditions,
  5. organisational circumstances of significance to safety and working environment,
  6. medical circumstances, including a statement from the responsible dive doctor (DRDD),
  7. training and drills,
  8. operational circumstances,
  9. vessels and technical equipment used in the activity.
