Vår Energi has received consent to remove the Jotun A facility from the Jotun field in order to be upgraded.
Jotun
The Jotun field is in the central North Sea, 25 kilometres north of Balder. Jotun was proved in 1994 and the PDO (plan for development and operation) was approved in 1997. Production began in 1999 and ceased in 2016.
